Every LV7 includes a center-mounted, high-efficiency 12V air conditioner with remote and Bluetooth control. Paired with 1200Ah of lithium capacity, it’s the combination that makes hot-weather travel and full-time living genuinely comfortable, no shore power required.

A Full-Length Roof Rack, Standard
A roof rack is one of the things travelers ask us for most, and for good reason. For 2027, every LV7 ships with a full-length, black powder-coated aluminum roof rack as standard. One clean, integrated platform across the top of your van, built in because of what it lets you carry and how it opens up the way you pack.
A Cleaner, More Flexible Roof
One full-length platform gives you a clean roofline and the freedom to configure the top of your van your way.
Ready for Your Gear
The rack is the mounting foundation for roof-based add-ons. A side ladder and traction boards both mount directly to it.
Fewer Holes, Cleaner Build
One integrated rack means fewer penetrations in the roof, which means fewer points to seal and fewer places for leaks to start over the life of your van. Installed as part of the build and finished to match.
Composting Toilet, Standard
Every 2027 LV7 includes a hideaway Trelino composting toilet. No black tank, no chemicals, no dump station hunt. It tucks away when you don’t need it and is ready when you do, so going off the grid stays simple.
Insulated Covers, Included
A complete set of interior magnetic insulated window covers and two insulated vent covers come with every LV7. Privacy when you want it, insulation when you need it, and a more comfortable cabin in heat and cold alike.

A note on insurance and titling: When you go to insure your van, your chassis may show as a 2026 RAM ProMaster until your DM Vans title conversion is complete. That’s normal. We build our 2027 Backcountry in 2026 on the 2026 RAM ProMaster (currently the only ProMaster RAM produces); it’s standard Class B upfitter practice. Your van is sold and titled as a 2027 DM Vans Class B Recreational Vehicle, and RAM warranty coverage begins on your date of sale.
Specifications based on the 2026 RAM ProMaster cargo van platform and current DM Vans build standard. Both chassis features and DM Vans build content may be updated during the model year as RAM releases chassis changes or as we refine our build. Final specifications are confirmed at time of deposit.
